Third Edition of Annual Stakeholder Dialogue Series to Address Democracy and Electoral Integrity in Africa Held

The Centre, in partnership with the All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) held the third annual Stakeholder Dialogue Series (SDS) on the theme “Enhancing Civic Engagement and Institution-Building for Sustainable Development in Africa,”

The Stakeholder Dialogue Series aimed to foster transparency, trust and good governance between citizens and state institutions, promoting the rule of law. The dialogue focused on the resilience and independence of state institutions responsible for conducting free and fair, exploring strategies to sustain democracy and build resilient institutions in Africa.

Participants from various sectors including the security, judiciary, civil society organisations (CSOs), faith based organisations, media, academia and municipal assemblies, gathered to discuss the crucial role of state institutions in ensuring a neutral, violence-free electoral process in Ghana.
