KAIPTC selected as semi-finalist to host Rotary Peace Centre
The Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre has been selected as one of three semi-finalists in Africa to host the next Rotary Peace Centre.
The Rotary Peace Centre Programme offers scholarships for selected individuals to be capacitated in areas of peace, development and social impact to take action to address the root causes of conflict and inequality in communities.
As part of the processes for consideration as host, an assessment team from the Rotary Foundation have payed a two-day visit to assess and evaluate KAIPTC’s eligibility to host the Peace Centre.
