KAIPTC participated in the 2024 eLearning Africa International Conference and Exhibition in Kigali, Rwanda. The event, held from May 28 to 31, 2024 under the theme “Education Fuels Innovation, Investment Amplifies Skills: Africa’s Vibrant Leap Forward” brought together educational leaders, policymakers, and innovators from across the continent to discuss the future of education in Africa, with a strong emphasis on digital learning.
KAIPTC’s involvement was multifaceted. The Centre delivered a presentation on “Designing Content for Online Learning” during the pre-conference session. Drawing on its experience in delivering high-quality eLearning programs, KAIPTC shared practical advice on creating engaging and effective online courses. Participants appreciated the emphasis on interactive content, real-world applications, and continuous feedback.
During the main conference, KAIPTC chaired a panel discussion on “Empowering Rural Communities with Digital Solutions.” This panel explored strategies to overcome technological obstacles faced by rural populations and foster collaborative partnerships.
Throughout the conference, KAIPTC maintained a vibrant exhibition booth, showcasing its eLearning programs and initiates. The booth attracted significant attention, offering participants the opportunity to explore KAIPTC’s range of online courses, academic programmes, and discuss potential partnerships.
KAIPTC’s active participation in the 2024 eLearning Africa Conference not only showcased expertise in digital education but also reinforced its commitment to advancing peace and security through innovative learning solutions. Participation in this conference was supported by the Government of Norway and EPSAO/GIZ.
