The Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) have announced a new partnership aimed at transforming peacebuilding initiatives across the African continent.
This collaboration emerged from a high-level meeting between KAIPTC Commandant Major General Richard Addo Gyane and KNUST Vice Chancellor, Prof. Akosua Dickson. During the strategic visit, both institutions outlined a shared vision to improve access to education through e-learning, particularly in peacebuilding and conflict resolution.
A key focus of this partnership is empowering young people and women, involving them in peace and security efforts. Additionally, KAIPTC is set to receive a Presidential Charter, enabling the Centre to issue its own postgraduate certificates and elevate its academic standing.
This partnership represents a significant step forward in strengthening education and peace initiatives, making a lasting impact on communities throughout Africa.
