Job Offer: Marketing Officer

Job Purpose

To support and coordinate the implementation of marketing strategies that enhance KAIPTC’s visibility and attract funding, sponsors, and collaborative partners. The role focuses on executing campaigns and initiatives to drive participation in training and academic programmes and explore non-traditional funding sources.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Campaigns:

  1. Assist in designing and executing marketing campaigns for KAIPTC’s training and academic programmes and activities.
  2. Use digital and traditional platforms to promote KAIPTC’s work and achievements.
  3. Monitor marketing performance to adjust the marketing strategy as needed.

Funding and Sponsorships:

  • Identify and approach non-traditional potential funding partners for specific training and other programmes.
  • Assist in creating funding and sponsorship proposals and maintaining a database of contacts.
  • Identify and approach potential sponsors for specific KAIPTC activities and programmes.

Partnership Development:

  • Support in engaging with external and internal collaborative partners to promote joint ventures.
  • Research non-traditional funding opportunities and partnerships, including private sector stakeholders.

Content Development:

  • Create marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and website content.
  • Maintain a consistent and professional brand image across all platforms.

Target Achievement:

  1. Meet targets for participant and student enrolment and sponsor acquisition.
  2. Track and report progress against these targets.

Market Research:

  1. Monitor and analyze KAIPTC’s industry trends and competitor activities to refine marketing strategies.
  2. Collect feedback from participants, students and partners to improve service delivery.
  3. Utilize research findings to provide management with insights and direction for upcoming marketing strategies and projects.

Minimum Requirements

Educational Qualification/Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the non-profit or educational sector. Strong skills in content creation and campaign management. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms. Working knowledge of French is an advantage.

  • Number of new partnerships, funding and sponsorships secured.
  • Growth in training participants and student enrolment.
  • Engagement metrics on digital platforms (e.g., website traffic, social media reach, etc).
