In 2021, H.E the President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo launched “the Green Ghana Day’ , an annual initiative which forms part of the national afforestation agenda.
To mark this year’s ‘Green Ghana Day’ under the theme ‘our forests, our health’, the Commandant and selected staff from the Centre, joined the national exercise by planting trees in front of the Centre and at other vantage points in the Centre in the spirit of environmental stewardship and sustainability.
The Commandant urged all staff to contribute to preserve our beautiful planet and alleviate the impact of climate change by planting and nurturing trees.
