APSTA Member States Pay Courtesy Calls Ahead of General Meeting

Ahead of the African Peace Support Trainers Association (APSTA) Board of Directors and General Meeting, representatives from all APSTA member states, including Major General Richard Addo Gyane, Commandant of the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC), paid courtesy calls to the APSTA Headquarters and the Ministry of Defence, Cameroon, on Wednesday, 29th January 2025.

At the APSTA Headquarters, all member state representatives had the opportunity to sign the visitors’ book, symbolizing their collective commitment to APSTA’s mission of strengthening peace support training across Africa.

During the visit to the Ministry of Defence, His Excellency BETI ASSOMO Joseph, Minister for Defence, welcomed the delegation, expressed gratitude for their presence, and reaffirmed Cameroon’s support for APSTA’s efforts in enhancing regional peace and security.

These engagements set the stage for the APSTA Board of Directors and General Meeting, reinforcing the shared commitment of member states to fostering strategic partnerships for sustainable peace and security in Africa.
